Cloudator is committed to protecting your personal data. This page describes how we process the data in detail.

2. Description of data we hold

We collect data on our business contacts, candidates and employees. All data we process, is collected for a valid reason for processing, such as recruitment process for a specific position to be filled. We require and store only the needed minimum amount of data. The data stored is deleted after becoming irrelevant or obsolete. We do not share data with 3rd parties without a consent request or a legitimate reason. All data is processed within Cloudator companies located in Europe. In some cases, data might be stored outside of Europe if it’s processed with 3rd party solution vendor.

3. How Cloudator protects your personal data

Our internal processes of data processing have been identified, documented and followed-upon in case of potential data breach incidents. Cloudator also requests data privacy compliance from all its partners.

Cloudator informs and trains its employees to handle personal data. By our internal processes we make sure your data is visible only for the people with a valid reason to have access to it. When processing any sensitive personal data, we protect the data with encryption or other measures.

In case of a suspected data breach, Cloudator follows the European Data Protection policies and local laws. Cloudator has an internal process in place for potential data breach incidents and how these are reported and informed.

4. Privacy policy for recruitment

Job applicant data is managed in Workday Recruitment, which is a 3rd party vendor solution. The data in Workday Recruitment is physically stored in the United States and compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield. To learn more about Workday Recruitment’s Privacy Policy, visit here.

The personal data we collect from you is used only for recruitment and selection purposes and only people with a valid reason can access your data. The basic information we collect from you are your contact details and job history. Furthermore, during recruitment process we normally save additional information necessary for the recruitment and selection process, such as interview evaluations. We collect your data toward our legitimate interest of i.e. evaluating your fit to the position you apply for and communicating about the recruitment process.

Your personal data is processed for the recruitment in question, unless otherwise agreed with you. We primarily collect information from you, but we might also collect information from possible references. Cloudator deletes personally identifiable information within 12 months from collecting the data. We keep non-identifiable data for reporting and statistical purposes. If there is a reason to hold your personal data for longer than 12 months, we will ask your consent with a separate email.

If you apply to a position through Cloudator career site, you can create a ‘Candidate Home’. You can modify your personal information or ask for us to delete your data from Workday Recruitment there.

5. Your rights to your personal data

You have the right to view your personal data, ask for corrections to your personal data, withdraw your consent for processing your personal data and ask for deletion of your personal data. All requests should be addressed in writing to privacy@cloudator.com. Your request is handled and responded within 30 days, without delay.

Even though we wish that you would always contact us if you have any concerns regarding the processing of your personal data, you also have the right to make a complaint to a national data protection authority if you are concerned that your individual rights under the privacy legislation have not been respected. 6. Cloudator.com cookies
